Recaldent is an ingredient derived from casein, part of the protein found in cow's milk. It promotes remineralization and safely strengthens teeth.
Recaldent maintains essential minerals (calcium and phosphate) in a soluble form that is able to penetrate the enamel of the tooth. It also binds to the surface of the tooth, and to the bacteria surrounding the tooth, presenting this soluble calcium phosphate at high concentration and promoting remineralization of the enamel subsurface.
Caution : Recaldent(tm) is derived from milk casein. Do not use on patients with a milk protein and/or hydroxybenzoates allergy.
How to use - morning & night ...
• Clean teeth in the normal way, then pat teeth dry with tissue and apply using a clean finger or cotton tip
Leave undisturbed for three minutes for day application then spread around mouth with tongue and hold for another 2 mins before expectorating. (washing your mouth out) Avoid food or drink for 30 minutes
Leave to slowly dissolve for night application.
