A fantastic new product in a pocket-sized plastic coloured box containing 3 strips of silicone brace wax, a mini-pictorial guide inside one cover and an extremely useful mirror in the other half.

Brace Gard is simply pinched over the offending bracket/brace, pushing material under and behind the bracket, forming a gripping configuration (mechanical retention). Special food grade silicone wax will not melt or become hard and crumbly. Brace Gard is transparent for a pleasing appearance and remains pliable allowing you to remove and reapply. It also affords excellent tongue protection for lingual patients.

This is smaller than the now discontinued Wisdom Brace Wax - you could fit 3 of this new Brace Gard into that little pocket in your jeans. And it comes with a mirror. And instructions in case you are an idiot. Use it to see who is behind you. Or to help apply the wax to your braces, while checking for food debris in your mouth, lipstick on your teeth, eyebrows needing tweaking or to check and see if your glass eye has rolled the wrong way round.
